Join Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location as a patrol-focused officer, conducting routine rounds, staying highly visible, and documenting and reporting security-related activity with clear communication and strong customer service. This post requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a valid driver’s license to support patrol coverage and response across the site. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production or office areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing visitors through check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or outside resources as needed.
  • Prepare complete and accurate reports, maintain shift activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and onsite contacts.
