As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and support lobby and entry screening procedures consistent with post orders.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; initiate notifications, document events, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain readiness and accountability of issued equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, firearms handling standards, and site-specific armed post protocols.
