As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves engaging with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols relevant to a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as appropriate.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when required.
