As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document activity, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors while providing standout customer service. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and access control requirements at a government location.
• Support entry screening operations by verifying credentials, managing visitor and employee check-in, and controlling access to restricted areas in accordance with policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and required documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
