Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, helping maintain a welcoming environment through high-visibility patrols and security-related presence. You will conduct routine rounds, monitor activity, support access points, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while helping to reduce incidents. This role requires an armed guard card and/or license and offers a chance to serve the community with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties by conducting regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control points and conduct security-related screenings, checks, and verification of identification and/or credentials as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and public law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
