As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Interact professionally with store employees, guests, and/or law enforcement personnel as needed while representing Allied Universal.
Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
