You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide clear, professional communication to employees and visitors. This is an armed and driving post, requiring an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card/license.
Have 6 months or more of armed security and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization when required, manage visitor check-in, and document deliveries, contractors, and vendor activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and use surveillance systems and/or access control tools as assigned to support security-related operations.
