As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and local responders. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying appropriate contacts, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization when required, and addressing unauthorized entry attempts in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate pertinent updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
