As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by bike, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
Assist with access control procedures and/or visitor management as needed.
Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and offer assistance to staff and/or customers as appropriate.
