As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible at financial institution locations to help deter security-related incidents. Your armed presence and driving responsibilities are vital to providing peace of mind for our clients and their customers. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
Complete detailed reports and logs of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
Work closely with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and support as required.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situations that may arise within the financial institution environment.
Carry a firearm and maintain all required certifications and training in accordance with company and legal requirements.
