As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play an important role in helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, performing routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge processes is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
Assist Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies related to access control.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors while addressing inquiries and providing directions as needed.
Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel to maintain a secure environment and report any suspicious activity.
