As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Assist in maintaining order by observing and reporting any security-related incidents or suspicious activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including perimeters and access points, to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related issues.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and offering assistance as needed.
Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or breaches of security-related protocols according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and coordinating with relevant parties.
