As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a prominent food and beverage location, conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with questions and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or emergencies following established protocols.
Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or violations of site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed regarding site activities and incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related issues within the food and beverage environment.
