Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly entry and exit. You will stay visible, monitor activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and document security-related events while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control and other security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Control entry and exit of employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification and/or access credentials and directing individuals to proper check-in areas.
  • Manage visitor and contractor processing by issuing temporary credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and communicating access approvals and restrictions to site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and coordinating with on-site personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
