As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and innovation location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and document security-related activity while supporting a professional workplace experience. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors, respond to concerns, and contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site employees and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate updates during post transitions, and support security-related investigations as directed.
