As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling designated areas within a financial institution location. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Document and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff regarding access control procedures.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
