Join Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and monitor entry points using computer and/or tablet systems. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver clear, professional communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have CPR certification preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic including employees, guests, vendors, and/or delivery drivers; coordinate with site contacts for approvals and direct individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting site response actions as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
