As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an access control post within a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific access control procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with security-related inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Perform regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related incidents.
Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to communicate concerns and relay important information regarding security-related matters.
