As a Security Officer Part Time Firewatch in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or staff entry as directed by site policies, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Support public-facing operations by offering directions, answering general questions, and assisting with security-related requests from staff, visitors, and/or members of the public.
