Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within financial institution locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized access according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees encountered during patrols.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in daily activity reports as required by the site.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and maintain high standards of service.
