As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with clients and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for financial institution operations.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate with site personnel and/or visitors in a professional manner while addressing security-related concerns.
Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as required by site policies.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
