As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a culture of care and integrity, while providing exceptional customer service as part of a dedicated and reliable team.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related matters as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address and resolve security-related issues as they arise.
