Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Full-Time in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a strong, visible presence. Your role includes conducting regular patrols, assisting employees and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as directed by site-specific guidelines.
