Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Full-Time in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, report concerns clearly, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, customer disputes, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the branch interior, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring doors and restricted areas, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in points.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, communicate key information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and support opening and/or closing routines as assigned.
