About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Unarmed in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment, working alongside a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation while always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and reporting any suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe for any unauthorized entry or unusual activity within the financial institution environment.
Document and report incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required during incidents or emergencies.
