As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Unarmed in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and reporting any suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and observe for any unauthorized entry or unusual activity within the financial institution environment.
- Document and report incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required during incidents or emergencies.
