About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Lead in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence will be visible throughout the facility, and you will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with clients and visitors. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
Communicate clearly and promptly with site management and/or law enforcement as necessary regarding security-related matters.
Support a welcoming environment while maintaining awareness of surroundings and assisting with access control as required.
