About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driving in Whippany, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any irregularities according to site procedures.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
