Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment for clients and visitors. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the financial institution environment.
Assist in managing access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.
Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or issues in accordance with site protocols.
