About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Agent in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and interact with staff and visitors to foster a secure environment. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Two or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the financial institution environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for employees and visitors.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or other relevant information as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification when necessary.
