As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and handling security-related inquiries. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a strong presence at the front desk, supporting a secure environment, and demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access control at the entry point, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities to management and Allied Universal as required.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation and/or lockdown procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
Operate security-related systems and equipment, such as visitor management software, access control systems, and surveillance cameras, as directed.
