As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrols in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You'll play a key role in upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working as part of a caring and collaborative team dedicated to integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the financial institution and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
Assist with access control, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the location as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal management or site supervisors.
Document and communicate any incidents or concerns to appropriate personnel as outlined in post orders.
