About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Headquarters in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and/or tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial property, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas and perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and common areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or loitering, and communicate observed issues to appropriate parties.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports and other required documentation, and support property operations with routine security-related checks such as door integrity and/or key control procedures.
