As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Desk in Farmington, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with team members and customers, utilize technology for communication and incident response, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and coordinate security-related responses within the location.
  • Provide customer service by following established procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using proper communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate logs of incoming calls, incidents, and dispatched personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.
  • Support security-related operations by relaying information between field personnel and management.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence through communications and monitoring systems.
