Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial institution location where your visible presence and routine rounds help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas, manage access control and badges, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while documenting observations and responding to concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
