As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the building perimeter, noting and/or reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and visitor management processes; assist with directing foot traffic and/or managing deliveries as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate post instructions during shift transitions, and support building operations with security-related requests as needed.
