As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of individuals on the premises.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
- Support emergency response efforts, such as evacuations or medical emergencies, by following established procedures and collaborating with first responders as needed.
