About The Position

As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Carthage, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service with clear communication. Requirements

Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production location for any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document observations and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist in emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency actions.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
