Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Dover, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and interact with visitors and staff. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and/or emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards within the food and beverage production location.
Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.
Document all security-related incidents and activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
