About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Facility Entry in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener within a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting with emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the facility, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, issues, or concerns at the site.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and location policies.
Support a secure environment in a technology-focused setting by remaining alert to unusual activity and promptly reporting any concerns.
