About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Facility Entry in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener within a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting with emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the facility, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, issues, or concerns at the site.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and location policies.
  • Support a secure environment in a technology-focused setting by remaining alert to unusual activity and promptly reporting any concerns.
