About The Position

As a Security Officer - Facility Access in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, with particular awareness of the needs of a chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Monitor for potential hazards and report any unusual conditions or activities as observed during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols for access control and visitor management within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
