About The Position

As a Security Officer - Facility Access in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, with particular awareness of the needs of a chemical or petrochemical location.
Monitor for potential hazards and report any unusual conditions or activities as observed during patrols.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Follow all site-specific protocols for access control and visitor management within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
