As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and deliver a strong customer service experience. Requirements

An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or hazards.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting access activity per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Complete timely reports and logs of patrols, access activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervision during shift turnover.
