Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and daily activities.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders and healthcare location guidelines.
