As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control, verify credentials, and support badge processing while greeting team members and drivers with strong customer service. You will conduct screening procedures, monitor assigned areas, document activity, and communicate concerns to leadership to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors and visitors for authorized entry using required methods such as identification verification, visitor processing and bag or package inspection.
• Operate and monitor screening equipment and/or access control points, reporting irregularities and policy violations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate logs and reports of screening results, incidents and/or unusual activity, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
