Security Officer - Entry Point Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Entry Point Driver in Cromwell, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities are part of the role. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
- Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, adapting to the unique needs of a food and beverage environment.
- Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to visitors, employees, and vendors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and accurately in reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
- Collaborate with onsite staff and emergency personnel during situations that require additional support or response.
