About The Position

As a Security Officer - Entry Point Driver in Monmouth, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves verifying credentials, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and care. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license in the state where you work.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to the food and beverage environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of protocol to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Participate in emergency response activities as needed, supporting the location’s protocols for food and beverage operations.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
