Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations at the location.
