As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations at the location.
