As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, ensuring adherence to site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel by addressing inquiries and offering directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any unusual observations to Allied Universal management.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns or incidents.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
