As a Security Officer - Entry Gate in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role includes routine patrols, visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other access-related activity in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of community rules, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
