Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor visitor, employee, and delivery access points, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity, incidents, and/or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following post orders, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and supporting appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized entry and support security-related operations.
- Complete routine logs and reports, maintain awareness of site traffic patterns, and assist with directing visitors, drivers, and/or vendors according to location procedures.
